Can be used, yes. Should be used, not the best option for leather, as well as many other materials it claims to be good for. Always keep in mind it is activated by water, it expands, and though it would work well for something like a loose chair leg, it would be a bad option for anything you hope to glue and end up having a “seamless” repair line, since it’s expansion will force apart something that may have had a perfect fit otherwise. And just a note on prolonging the use out a bottle of Gorilla Glue. Once opened you must try to squeeze out any air space left in the bottle once you start using it, as the remainder will slowly harden over time. I’ve yet to get past using more than half a bottle before having to toss it out. And as for the clear Gorilla tape, it has worked well on a few things, but beware the black Gorilla tape! It is thick, somewhat rigid, and not all that happy with it for anything I’ve used it on so far.
Recently used the new “glass glue” on a alabaster glass globe that was in four jagged pieces, results were excellent, and very strong! It will be the only choice for glass from now on.
